ਕਵਿਤਾ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਲਿਖੀਏ
ਕਵਿਤਾ ਲਿਖਣਾ ਵਿਸਮਾਦੀ ਅਮਲ ਹੈ। ਕਵਿਤਾ ਲਿਖਣ ਵੇਲ਼ੇ ਲੋਕ ਮਹਿਜ਼ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਹਿਸਾਸ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਵਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ, ਸਗੋਂ ਉਹ ਟੋਂਹਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਹਿਸਾਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਕੀ ਕੁਝ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ। ਕਵਿਤਾ ਸੰਜੋਗ-ਵਿਜੋਗ, ਪ੍ਰੇਮ, ਦੁੱਖ, ਅਤੇ ਮੌਤ ਆਦਿਕ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਲਹਿਣ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਹ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਮੁੱਕਦਾ ਕਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ। ਅਹਿਸਾਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਰਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਲਹਿਣ ਨਾਲ਼ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਨਾਲ਼ ਨਾਤਾ ਜ਼ਾਹਿਰ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕਾਵਿ ਸਿਰਜਣਾ ਦੇ ਪਲ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਦੀ ਸੋਝੀ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅਹਿਸਾਸ ਦੀ ਸਹੀ ਨੁਮਾਇੰਦਗੀ ਢੁਕਵੇਂ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਬਗ਼ੈਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ। ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਦਾ ਅਹਿਸਾਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੂਖਮਤਾਈਆਂ ਅੰਦਰਲੇ ਸਰੋਦ ਨਾਲ਼ ਸਿੱਧਾ ਨਾਤਾ ਹੈ। ਸ਼ਬਦ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਰੰਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੁਹਜ ਨਾਲ਼ ਇੱਕਸੁਰ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਕਵਿਤਾ ਦੀ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਆਬਾਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ। ਕਵਿਤਾ ਲਿਖਣ ਲਈ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਦੀ ਸੋਝੀ ਹੋਣੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ।
ਕਵਿਤਾ ਆਪੇ ਅੰਦਰਲੀ ਸੰਗੀਤਾਮਿਕਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ, ਛੰਦ ਅਤੇ ਅਲੰਕਾਰ ਕਵਿਤਾ ਦਾ ਅਨਿੱਖੜਵਾਂ ਅੰਗ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਕੋਰਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੋਲੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ਼-ਨਾਲ਼ ਛੰਦ-ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ’ਤੇ ਮੁਹਾਰਤ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਪਿੰਗਲ਼ ਅਤੇ ਅਰੂਜ਼ ਵੀ ਸਿਖਾਏ ਜਾਣਗੇ।ਬੋਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਛੰਦ-ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ’ਤੇ ਮੁਹਾਰਤ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਅਗਲਾ ਸੁਆਲ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕਵੀ ਨੇ ਕਵਿਤਾ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਕੀ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ’ਤੇ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ। ਭਾਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਆਦਿਕ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਕਵੀ ਦੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਵਾਰੀ ਜ਼ਮਾਨੇ ਦੇ ਰੁਝਾਨ ਕਵੀਆਂ ਸਿਰ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਮੜ੍ਹ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਕਵਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਅਖ਼ਬਾਰੀ ਖ਼ਬਰਾਂ, ਸਿਆਸੀ ਬਿਆਨਾਂ, ਫ਼ਲਸਫ਼ਾਨਾ ਟਿੱਪਣੀਆਂ, ਅਤੇ ਨੈਤਿਕ ਨਸੀਹਤਾਂ ਆਦਿ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਖਰੇ ਹੋਣ ਤਾਂ ਕਵਿਤਾ ਦੀ ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਹਸਤੀ ਦੇ ਖਿੜਨ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਕੋਰਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਵਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਿਭਾਅ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੰਵਾਦ ਰਚਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
ਕੋਰਸ 13 ਹਫ਼ਤੇ ਦਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਜਮਾਤ 3 ਘੰਟੇ ਦੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਹਰ ਜਮਾਤ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਹਿੱਸੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਵਿਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਹਿੱਸੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕਵੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਕਵਿਤਾਵਾਂ ਲਿਖਵਾਈਆਂ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ਼ ਆਲੋਚਨਾਤਮਿਕ ਰਾਇ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।

Prabhsharandeep Singh is a Sikh scholar whose research involves areas such Sikh Studies, Study of Religions, Religious Experience, Religion and Literature, Religion and Violence, Postcolonial Theory, Intellectual History, and Continental Philosophy. He has Masters in English (Punjabi University), Masters in Study of Religions (SOAS, University of London), DPhil cand. (University of Oxford). He writes poetry in Punjabi and English. He has recently published a collection of Punjabi poetry titled Des Nikala that has poems on the themes such as exile, memory, trauma, time, and language.
